У роботі досліджено питання мотивації приходу до влади на місцевому рівні на прикладі громад Волинської області. Мета дослідження – проаналізувати вплив особистих цінностей представників органів місцевого самоврядування на їхню мотивацію працювати в місцевих органах влади. Робота розглядає основні теоретичні підходи до визначення поняття влади, її зв’язок із мотиваційними аспектами особистості, а також роль цінностей у формуванні мотиваційної структури. Дослідження ґрунтується на методиці вивчення мотиваційно-ціннісних типів, яку розробив Ш. Шварц, та проведеному кількісному анкетному опитуванні представників місцевого самоврядування Волинської області. Авторка акцентує увагу на важливості розуміння особистих цінностей для ефективного управління та політичної діяльності на місцевому рівні. Результати роботи засвідчують, що особисті цінності мають значний вплив на мотивацію працювати в органах місцевої влади, що впливає на якість та ефективність виконання службових обов’язків. Висновки дослідження можуть бути корисними для розроблення рекомендацій щодо вдосконалення системи управління на місцевому рівні.
