«THE PRAGUE TEXT» BY ULAS SAMCHUK (ON THE BASIS OF THE NOVELS «SABOTAGE OF THE UVO» AND «ON THE EDGE OF TIME»)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the representation of Prague in the artistic heritage of Ulas Samchuk. The aim of this work is to analyse the reflection of the urban space of the capital of Czechoslovakia in his fiction, particularly in the novels Sabotage of the UVO and On the Edge of Time. The article also interprets the connection between Prague's space and the fates of the characters in these works and explores the concepts of the writer's artistic historiosophy, formed under the influence of his time in Prague.
