Submission procedure

The Editorial Board of the 'Scientific Notes of Ostroh Academy National University, Philology Series' accepts scholarly articles that align with the speciality B11 "Philology (by specialisations)" and the scientific field 10 "Philological Sciences". All submitted materials must be original, unpublished and not under consideration by other scholarly publications. 

The authors are completely responsible for:

  • the content of the submitted material
  • the accuracy of the data and research results provided
  • the correctness of citations and references
  • adhering to principles of academic integrity
  • compliance with ethical standards for research, including those involving human participants, as well as any requirements related to data disclosure and storage, when applicable.

The journal accepts for publication articles that:

  • contain scientific novelty
  • take into account current publications on the relevant topic
  • align with the aims and scholarly priorities of the journal
  • comply with formatting requirements.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review procedure in accordance with the editorial policy. Based on the review outcomes, the Editorial Board may decide to:

  • accept the article for publication
  • request revision of the manuscript
  • reject the article.

If necessary, the Editorial Board may return the article for revision in light of comments from reviewers and/or the editorial team. The author(s) are required to submit a revised text and substantiated responses to the comments within the designated timeframe.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to carry out linguistic, stylistic, and technical editing of the manuscript without altering its scholarly content. In the case of substantial revisions that may affect the content or interpretation of the material, the text is coordinated with the author(s).

The views, conceptual approaches and conclusions expressed in the articles do not necessarily reflect the position of the Editorial Board, the Editor-in-Chief or the founder of the journal.

The number of authors of one article must not exceed three. Changes to the author list are not allowed after manuscript submission.

Manuscripts may be submitted either by email at lingua.lab@oa.edu.ua or through the online submission system on the journal's website.

Submission of an article implies the author(s)' agreement with all editorial policies, including the policies on publication ethics, peer review, open access, copyright and privacy.

By submitting an article, the authors consent to the collection and processing of personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VI "On the Protection of Personal Data" dated 01.06.2010 (as amended).
