Submissions received by the Editorial Board are reviewed for compliance with the aims and scope of the publication, as well as for adherence to structural and formatting requirements. After this, they are sent to at least two anonymous reviewers appointed by the Editor-in-Chief from among the editorial board members or as invited external reviewers. Articles submitted to this publication undergo a confidential double-blind peer review (where neither the author nor the reviewer knows each other's identity). All communications between the authors and reviewers were conducted exclusively via email correspondence with the editorial office.
The publication is addressed to researchers, academics, graduate and undergraduate students, and a wide range of readers interested in contemporary issues from various fields of social sciences.
The journal adopts an Open Access policy as defined by BOAI. According to it the journal materials immediately after publication are available to all users free of charge. Texts may be freely read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched for or summarized in full, and used for any other lawful purpose without requiring prior permission from the publisher or authors.

The editorial board of the publication “Agora. Social Sciences Journal” supports the “Sustainable Development Goals” program in the context of achieving the goals of “Peace, justice, and strong institutions,” in line with the aims and scope of the journal. Achieving sustainable development is impossible without effective democratic governance and systematic protection of human rights. In this context, Sustainable Development Goal 16 (“Peace, justice, and strong institutions”) is identified as a strategic foundation for implementing initiatives in the areas of democracy, the rule of law, and good governance, as well as a catalyst for achieving interconnected sustainable development goals. We provide equal opportunities for our readers, authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and other stakeholders to contribute to the development of the social sciences through the opportunities offered by this publication.
